The Internal Auditors Division of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association is offering a three-day “Understanding the Securities Industry and Securities Settlement and Clearance” training course. The course is designed at an introductory level for internal auditors who have an elementary knowledge of accounting, but little knowledge of how securities transactions are effected, settled and cleared, and securities regulations. The cost of the training course includes three continental breakfasts, five coffee and refreshment breaks and course material. Registration is limited to two individuals per firm with a maximum registration of 30 participants. If paying by credit card, please complete the credit card information on the registration form and fax the completed registration form to Lisette Rios at (212) 312-1353. Otherwise, mail your check made payable to the “Internal Auditors Division” to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, Attn: Lisette Rios, 120 Broadway, 35th Floor, New York, NY 10271-0080, in the amount of $600 per registrant for IAD members ($700 for non-members) along with the original registration form. Forms submitted without payment will be returned. SPACE IS LIMITED SO REGISTER EARLY! Cancellation requests must be in writing and received by November 10, 2008.
